It started with a water bowl.

Another late night, another long day. Keys in the door, bag on the floor, and there they were: waiting by the door like they'd been waiting all day. Because they had.

And then we saw the bowl. Half-empty. A little dusty. Probably sitting there since the morning rush.

It's a small thing. But anyone who loves an animal knows that feeling: the quiet guilt of I'm doing my best, and it still doesn't feel like enough.

We live where many of our customers live: small homes, long hours, tiny kitchens, neighbours on the other side of the wall. We didn't want a smarter house. We just wanted our pets to have fresh water while we were stuck at work. Dinner on time, even when the train was late. Care tools that fit a compact floor and don't wake anyone at 3am.

So we started looking for things that genuinely helped — not gadgets that only look clever in an ad, but quiet, reliable pet tech that is easy to clean and honest about what it does (and what it doesn't).

Who runs Pet R Tech

Pet R Tech is a Hong Kong–based independent pet-tech shop (www.petrtech.com). We are a small team, not a conglomerate brand. We curate practical feeders, fountains, grooming, and everyday care tools we'd be happy to use at home. Packaging stays simple so prices stay fair. When you message us, a real person answers.

We do not invent certifications, review counts, or press quotes. Product pages state what is confirmed from the listing and supplier notes — and say when a detail still needs checking.

Where we ship

We ship with tracking to five markets: Hong Kong, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

  • United States: free shipping on orders over US$70 (standard US$4.99 below that threshold).
  • Hong Kong: free shipping on orders HK$498+ (standard HK$30 below that threshold).
  • UK, Canada, and Australia: shipping options and thresholds show at checkout.

Returns & damaged orders

If something arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos — see Returns & Refunds. Please choose colour, size, volume, and plug/adapter carefully at checkout; we ship exactly what was selected.

Because the goal was never the technology.
